Background

MDCC TECH OPC (Modular Development and Creative Composites Technology, One Person Corporation) is a construction innovation company based in the Philippines, redefining how buildings are made. Rooted in the legacy of Multi Development and Construction Corporation (MDCC)—founded in 1975 by the father of Jose Paolo Gregorio A. Calma—MDCC TECH OPC represents the evolution of a decades-long commitment to building excellence.

Having shaped his career within MDCC and completed over 80,000 square meters of interior projects, Calma launched MDCC TECH OPC to offer a new productivity model for the construction industry. Unlike traditional contractors, MDCC TECH OPC operates as a team of system engineers and assemblers, providing engineered components that reduce on-site labor requirements while delivering maximum impact. This approach supports faster, more efficient construction—empowering nation-building with smarter, scalable solutions for those in need.

What We Do

We design and supply component worlds tailored to your project concept.

At MDCC TECH OPC, we don't participate in bidding. Instead, we offer bespoke, budget-based proposals for Assemble-to-Order (ATO) component systems—delivered directly to consumers, developers, and facility managers. Our focus is on providing engineered, ready-to-assemble solutions that align with your vision, streamline construction, and boost productivity.

Built Environment Worlds

Modular Housing - We hold the license for Homeqube Structural Legacy Parts allow multiple configurations of arrangements like a Lego house, depending on the client's taste of arrangements. The materials of the components to assemble are made from Fiber Metal Laminate (FML) for connectors and Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP).In just 16 hours with only 6 workers, we can assemble the structure up to a 3-storey residential house. This world even includes modular swimming pools.

Modular Interiors - We design and supply components for hotel interiors, rooms, lobbies, retail restaurants, and the like. Our composites for this sector very from GFRG, GFRP, GFRC, Aluminum, Wood Plastic Composites, Special Composite Boards, Engineered Products, etc. As system design and engineers, we propose the best set of components for client's requirements fitting. This world also includes modular furniture.

Modular Low-Rise Buildings - We believe our structural composites is sufficient to deliver mass complexity structures for low rise mixed used buildings.

Modular Mid-Rise Buildings - Pre-engineered buildings are nothing new, from Cold Formed Steel, Cross Laminated Timber, other Volumetric Systems, might be offered 2026 and beyond, as long as it is in line with modularity.

What Are Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEBs)?
Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEBs) are smartly designed components for efficiency in construction. These structures are crafted off-site using Fiber Metal Laminate (FML) and Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP), meticulously engineered for quick and straightforward assembly.

PEBs offer a modern alternative to traditional construction methods, providing a faster and more cost-effective way to build various types of structures.

Fiber Metal Laminates are hybrid composites made by layering thin metal sheets and fiber-reinforced polymers. They offer a unique combination of the lightness and strength of both materials, making them ideal for high-stress and lightweight construction applications.

Typically involving aluminum or titanium and fibers like glass or carbon, FMLs are produced through a bonding process under heat and pressure.

In construction, they’re mainly used in aerospace for parts like aircraft fuselage and wings, providing benefits like reduced weight, increased strength, and enhanced fatigue and corrosion resistance. This makes them crucial for designing more efficient, durable structures in sectors where such properties are paramount.

This material is used for fabricating connectors (Base Plate, Column Adaptor, Beam Connector).

Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer is a composite material made by reinforcing plastic with fine fibers made of glass. This combination results in a strong, durable, and extremely versatile material.

In the construction industry, GFRP is highly valued for its strength-to-weight ratio, which is superior to many traditional building materials. It is also resistant to corrosion, moisture, and various chemical impacts, making it ideal for use in harsh or corrosive environments.

This material is used for fabricating legacy frame parts (Beams, Columns, Braces).
